Barcelona - Picasso Museum and More

Walked to Picasso Museum and bought our tickets - we were 4th in line and our timed entry was an hour later.  When we exited, the line was down the block and they were selling tickets for 2 hours later-  so the end of the line probably had a 3-4 total wait time for entry.

Around the corner from the Picasso is the Santa Maria del Mar church/basilica. 

 

Empanadas for lunch - purchased from a shop in the Santa Caterina Market.

Continued our Barrio Gotic walking tour.

Roman ruins

Came back to the Barcelona Cathedral to see the cloisters, the thirteen geese and palm trees

We're churched out. 

And then it was time for the usual, tapas (really called pinchos) and cervezas.

Early night, need to pack up, have to leave hotel by 7:15 ish so we can catch our 8:25 train to Lyon, France.
