As Mare pointed out "it's a fine mess you've gotten us into this time"
Mare didn't get a single bite, that was a good thing. So tonight we are paying for 2 hotels - c'est la vie!
We walked the first part of our long walk today and will pick up the camino from that spot on Sunday.
Walked up to Rocher St Michel d'Aiguilhe - chapel on top of a volcanic cone
The Camino starts on the steps of the cathedral. Down you go and then climb your way out of town.
First kilometer marker, we are doing 750 Kilometers, we walked the other part in 2013.
For lunch we had a Le Puy specialty - green lentils and sausages. We've already eaten more meat than we eat in a year.
Our first and last crepe was very good, too good
Making lace - these were all done by handCheers!
We are enjoying following your journey and adventures. Shame about those nasty bedbugs.
