Today, by our calculations, we cracked the 100 miles to go barrier! 350 miles behind us and 100 to go. However, we only have 8 days to get it done and that means an average of 12.5 miles per day.
We set out at 8:00 am after the usual breakfast - bread and jam, yogurt, coffee and tea.
Trail was wet and muddy again
Sights along the way
More mud
This morning we we were walking with a Canadian couple we met (we have stayed at the same place twice now, including last night). They were taking a 2 kilometer short cut, hotel owner told them about, so we went along, saved us an hour walking. The path wasn't marked but we managed.
Checking the maps to make sure we were still on the right track
Coming into stopping point - Aire-sur-l'Adour
