Path was through farmers fields
Trail marking
Lots of sun flowers
A château in a state of disrepair
And another château.
This city has a small laundry - 5 washers and 2 dryers. We took showers and gathered up all our stuff and filled a 10 kilo (22pound) washer. Cost 6 euros, around $6.60, but worth it. The dryer is 1 euro per 10 minutes.
A French couple, we first met 2 weeks ago was doing their laundry. We hadn't seen them for 2 weeks and saw them walking yesterday.
There are so many different places to stay every day, some walk shorter days or longer days, and then weeks go by and then you see a familiar face.
Life on a 450 mile walk. Get up, breakfast, walk, check in, shower, laundry, eat, sleep, get up . . . .
Tomorrow no wet socks hanging from our backpacks - air drying as we walk.
Our hotel - shutters closed, nice courtyard, swimming pool
Dinner
First course - marinated salmon
Main - Guineafowl with red/green/yellow peppers and onion
Dessert - crême brûlée
Tomorrow we walk it off over 13 miles
