Lauzerte to Moissac - 25 kilometers

Long hilly day, 50% of today was on blacktop - tough on the feet.

We started at 7:50 am and arrived at 3:30 pm.  Our dogs (feet) were barking by the time we checked into hotel.

Nice breakfast - breads and jam, yogurt, fruit, tea, coffee, cereal.  Nice group of walkers at our lodging.

Another climb to begin the day - Lauzerte  off in the distance.

A half timbered dovecote.

Church of Saint Sernin du-Bosc

Hugh (stayed at same place as us last night, from Nice, walking by himself)

Trail marker

We picked yellow plums along the route today - delicious.  Later on we picked some peaches - awesome.  Yesterday we came across fig trees - tasty.

Saint Pierre Abbey in Moissac. First built in 1100

Walls inside Abby are all hand painted

Coming out if the Abbey we ran into Michael, the young fellow from Austria. We hadn't seen him since Livinhac (9 days ago) and thought he was far ahead of us.  We gave him two of our hand picked peaches.

Our hotel

Our hotel is right on the path, so tomorrow we step outside, turn to the right and we are on the way (le chemin).

We celebrate past the half way mark with red wine

Por moi, salad with sheep cheese on toast, Mare went with the quiche Lorraine.  Both were fab.

Salmon with rice, green beans and salad.

White fish with rice, green beans and salad

Dessert
Pear tart

Cheese plate

Bon nuit
