Spotty internet service the last 3-4 days. Finally was able to post my missing entries (posts) on the blog today
Breakfast started at 7:30, we were two of the first diners. Croissants, bread, jams, white cheese (yogurt), coffee and tea. Hit the trail at 8:30 and stopped at 2:30. Our hotel didn't open till 3:00, so we had ice cream bars.

Tonight's lodging - Chambre d'hôtel La Cordalie, an 18th century (1760) manor house
Before dinner, we sat in front of our hotel and the host brought out aperatif for us - an anise flavored liquor with water and ice
Crudités - carrot and garlic dish - good
Plate of assorted salami - good
Stuffed tomatoes - awesome

Choice of fruit tart or custard tart - both were too good
Secrets to french cooking:
Butter, cream, eggs, sugar, cheese, more butter and more cream.
